As I have blogged about before I have chosen to take the path of Hedgewitch because I like that it means doing things the old-fashioned and traditional way. I can't believe that with all of the astrology-related postings that I have done that I didn't mention the name of the astrology program that I use! The main astrology reading program that I use is called Astrolog and it is available as a free download by clicking here.

For it being a free, downloadable program it is quite powerful and full of options!

I use it for the majority of my astrology readings including my own as as you will be able to see from some of my previously related astrology blog entries, this astrology program provides some pretty accurate readings!

Are You Interested In Taking A Tarot Course Online?

From my email bag I got an announcement about a website called Tarotcollege.com that is teaching online course in tarot readings. Although I do tarot readings as a profession I'm never one to shrink from soaking in as much knowledge as I can! There is always something new to learn.

As far as I know some of these courses are free but you can also become a lifetime member for a fee.

I have looked over this site and it looks very interesting.

Etsy?

I found this very interesting website! It's called Etsy and I wanted to investigate it more because I have seen cute little graphics about it on other people's websites and blogs.

Etsy is a site where you can buy and sell handmade products - including handmade jewelery, bags and even some clothing - of which some are knitted and / or crocheted. I also liked seeing the various food-related products for sale - especially the different kinds of tea! I love having a "spot of tea every now and then!

But you know what else it got me to thinking about? Me and the kinds of "crafts" that I myself have created and the fact that I even have the ability to do so!

What can I do? Well of some of the products that I have seen on Etsy, I have come to realize that I can knit, crochet and especially SEW - since I'm always repairing and mending stuff! (I also like to cook too!) I have seen a lot of cute things being sold on Etsy that look like the kind of thing that I could whip up!

Another thing too is that all the skills mentioned above are also very relaxing things to do and I especially like doing it while watching a good movie!

It's also taking me back to a time that was more simpler where being able to do things like knitting and crocheting didn't seem to be so old-fashioned - in fact it was sometimes a necessity.

And that is reminding of why I chose to be a hedgewitch in the first place which is because the meaning to me is of the traditional witch that uses the supplies that they have at hand! (Think I'm feeling a past-life flashback coming on!)

It's also got me curious about what my fellow witches and reader have as hobbies and/or talents such as the above?

Now that I have acknowledged (both to myself and to you) my "other talents - let's hear about yours!

And - PS - this just gives me more pictures that I have to post which now includes things that I have made!

I have (Another) New Website!

This one is called my "Windows Spaces" page.

It also includes a blog - which means I have yet another blog now! I don't know what I'm going to use this blog for but so far since I'm just learning my way around this site I'm using it as a kind of "help" blog to help me to get to know the site better.

If I remember correctly I got this site because I was trying to join one of the MSN groups that I was very interested in and having this site was a part of their "package". So if you have your own site here then drop me a line so that I can have some "friends" to add to my list.

Dianic Witchcraft

Here is a very interesting term that I found out about online:

Dianic Witchcraft is a woman oriented form of Witchcraft. It is the only form of Witchcraft that is exclusively female. While most Dianic Witches are lesbians, there are also straight and bi- Dianic Witches. Dianic Witchcraft is an earth-based, peaceful religion. Modern Dianic Witchcraft is feminist.

To an outside observer, Dianic Witchcraft may appear to be a single tradition, but actually it is an intertwined group of traditions that have influenced each other over the centuries and millenia

This is the first time that I have ever heard this term and I find it very interesting.

There Is A Witches Group In My Area!

I was going through my email today and noticed that I got mail from Meetup.com. I had forgot that I was a member! I belong to thePhiladelphia Witches Group. (You may want to check and see if their are any witch groups in your area.)

It's nice to think that there is an actual witch's group in my area. But sadly I just haven't had the nerve to go to any of their events yet. I guess I'm hiding behind the excuse that I don't have a car but I notice that a lot of their events are ones that I can get to using public transportation. There are also some unrelated issues that I'm trying to solve which is really blocking my desires to be free of worry.

I'm glad to know that the group is there just in case I change my mind and decide to go.

I'm sure many of you belong to witchy-related groups and are glad that you have them in your own area.

I Was Wondering Whether Or Not I Should Get A MySpace Page?

It's so much with keeping up with the blogs that I have. Besides this blog I have a few others which I don't post in as much. But I was doing something else and I was thinking about MySpace and then I wondered whether or not I should join it.

I don't think there's anything wrong with having a MySpace page - its just that I have so many other sites and its hard enough remembering all of them much less going back and updating and bringing them more current.

But MySpace is a good networking site so I might decide to go ahead and get a myspace page. But I am curious as to how many of you already have a myspace page and if you do have one could you kindly leave a link to it - I may want to start my own myspace page and it would be good to have some "friends" waiting for me to get.

I have just spent an exhausting time reading through the many posts of this blog! And the reason is because there are many posts that I was interested in reading!

Dealing with the negative thoughts in my mind is something that I am constantly working on and finding this blog was great! (Maybe it was even a sign to point me to somewhere that would help me deal with this). And I'm now glad that I found this blog!

The Perseid Meteor Shower

Apparently this is going to be one of those weekends that will be good for stargazers like myself. It would be great if I had a telescope (another thing to put on my list of things I want!) or some binoculars but just the same I have a pretty good view of the sky without the interference of city lights.

The Perseid Meteor Shower is supposed to peak this weekend. This is one of those times when the moon won't be in view (this is supposed to be the night of a new moon)so you will be able to get an even better view of these meteor showers. In certain areas (northeastern skies) you will even be able to see Mars!

I think its been a while since I posted here. Sooooo many things occuppying my mind and they are mostly of a financial nature. That's why I blog a lot about "The Secret" and how its supposed to help people. I'm currently using "all my powers" to focus on the financial abundance that I want so that I can relax and enjoy life more. For instance being able to capture some of the meteor showers tonight would be just the kind of thing I would be doing now that I know that it is supposed to occur tonight.

And if I hadn't had read more about it then I would not have even known that tonight is the night of a new moon - which means the start of new beginnings which I hope that I am going to be a part of.

A Home Witchcraft Course?

I should warn you that before you click on the link you should know that clicking on it will lead you to a .pdf file. If you're computer is able to handle that then there is no problem but keep in mind that its a pretty big .pdf file (it consists of 12 pages). Now with that being said...............

I found this interesting link to a "home witchcraft course" that is a downloadable .pdf file. It has some very good basic information on it like self-dedication and candle magick.

I have also updated my links page with some of the more interesting links that I have found online.

I'm very encouraged by the comments that people are leaving me on this blog - especially where it has to do with spell magic and how it is manifesting in my life. I still continue to work on it so that I can achieve the greatest, most prosperous results that I can!

UFOs?

I have always been - more or less - an open-minded person. I believe that there are things that can't be explained. I have an interest in those things old, ancient and mysterious. I especially love all those specials that come on TV around Hallowen about witches, vampires and other such related stuff.

I recently was looking at a blog about UFO's and although I haven't had any personal experiences with UFO's that doesn't mean that I don't think that they aren't a possibility. I don't think that ours is the only planet with habitants on it.

But it's always interesting to find other sites and blogs that are interesting.

I saw an online group that I wanted to join but.....

it was on MSN and you need to sign up for a "passport" in order to register to join. It may be my computer's settings but I'm just having too much problems trying to register to join and it's really a shame because its a group of Wiccans In PA - where I live and I'd like to be able to correspond with those in my area. Hopefully I'll be able to find a similar online group that I can join.
