There Is A Witches Group In My Area!
It's nice to think that there is an actual witch's group in my area. But sadly I just haven't had the nerve to go to any of their events yet. I guess I'm hiding behind the excuse that I don't have a car but I notice that a lot of their events are ones that I can get to using public transportation. There are also some unrelated issues that I'm trying to solve which is really blocking my desires to be free of worry.
I'm glad to know that the group is there just in case I change my mind and decide to go.
I'm sure many of you belong to witchy-related groups and are glad that you have them in your own area.

I have a Meetup in my city too. The folks who organize and attend regularly are nice, but it's a mixed bag as far as everyone else goes. Being a totally public event, it attracts all kinds from the really smart and knowledgeable, sincere beginners, to totally flaky, and just plain crazy. I have found however that a lot of the covens and elders in my area never go to Meetups so I consider it one resource among many and not the only bet.
I feel that way too! "Never say never" - because I have a feeling that I will show up to at least one of the events. They look like a nice bunch of people and they seem sincere.
I will post about it when I decide to attend one of the events.
Hi, Angel
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Enjoy the reading. I hope it doesn't put you to sleep! I'm a "sort of" neighbor of yours, out in rural central PA.
Good luck with hitching up with a local group. The Witch's Voice, one of my favorite Pagan web sites, has a listing of Philly groups here.
Hi and thanks so much for visiting my site and leaving your comment.
You're not alone in how you feel about the attracting of wealth. I've found that cultivating non-attachment really helps in these situations. Meditation is great for calming the mind and the ego. Also we can achieve a great deal by adopting an attitude of play (rather than work)
Best wishes to you in your study of wisdom.
Well if I left a comment on your blog then I certainly didn't find it boring!
Even though I live close to a major city I do know that the entire state of Pennasylvania has a lot to offer.
I also have a witchvox link on this blog as well and bookmarked the link you gave me.
When I look at my life in the past I have seen evidence and examples of things that I have manifested because of my thoughts and there have been times that I have manifested money.
My problem is that I want it so bad and I know that I am trying too hard. I do have to surrender my thoughts.
I have come upon some very interesting writings and the one that I'm thinking about now says that in order to manifest what you want as soon as possible ask yourself these 3 questions:
What do I want?
How will I feel when I have it? (and experience those feelings as if you have what you want right now)
and
What am I able to do next now that I have what I want (and experience those feelings as well)
So that is what I am doing. When negative thoughts enter my thoughts I go back to focus on what I want and having the feelings of having it now.
You're right in that it seems that a lot of people have trouble manifesting wealth and I think that it is because they are trying too hard or they are having too many negative feelings that are being interspersed with what it is they really want.
Oh and I make it a regular practice to meditate at least once a day - usually during the middle of my day.
