The Perseid Meteor Shower

Apparently this is going to be one of those weekends that will be good for stargazers like myself. It would be great if I had a telescope (another thing to put on my list of things I want!) or some binoculars but just the same I have a pretty good view of the sky without the interference of city lights.

The Perseid Meteor Shower is supposed to peak this weekend. This is one of those times when the moon won't be in view (this is supposed to be the night of a new moon)so you will be able to get an even better view of these meteor showers. In certain areas (northeastern skies) you will even be able to see Mars!

I think its been a while since I posted here. Sooooo many things occuppying my mind and they are mostly of a financial nature. That's why I blog a lot about "The Secret" and how its supposed to help people. I'm currently using "all my powers" to focus on the financial abundance that I want so that I can relax and enjoy life more. For instance being able to capture some of the meteor showers tonight would be just the kind of thing I would be doing now that I know that it is supposed to occur tonight.

And if I hadn't had read more about it then I would not have even known that tonight is the night of a new moon - which means the start of new beginnings which I hope that I am going to be a part of.

Dracula?

I know it may seem sterotypical but I am a fan of (the better) Dracula movies. I just saw the original WolfMan movie - the one in black and white - and you know what I noticed the most was the scenery. Even though it was in black and white I have just got this thing for great scenery! There were gypsies in the movie and I just like the way they dress!

I have to tell you too that I am a big "Buffy" and "Angel" fan! While I watch the reruns of "Charmed" I mostly watch that program because of that gorgeous old house and to be truthfull I like seeing what the sisters are wearing. I'm also a fan of the movie "The Craft" - even though a lot of people don't like and think that its not true to the truth about being a witch, I think the movie made some good points. Such as using one's mind and there having to be a balance of good and bad.

So there you have it.

I hope that doesn't make me shallow - LOL!
