Mabon!
My favorite holiday of them all!
And it has just begun for another year! There is definitely a "chill" in the air! As a matter of fact my heater came on last night because I still had the windows up! The temperature went down into the mid-40's -definitely NOT summertime weather and temperatures at all!
Mabon is the time of year to get one's self ready for the upcoming winter and that is exactly what I plan to do! There is a lot of clearing of weeds that I have to do, leaves that have to be raked and supplies that have to be stored for the upcoming winter. I want to have an adequate supply of rock salt plus some essentials and basics in case I get "pleasantly" snowed in - things like toilet paper, cans of soup, enough catfood for my cat and cigarettes because I am a smoker.
My grocery plans for this season include pound cake, apples, nuts and the other foods that are associated with Mabon.
