If you're curious I still consider my BOS quite new because I don't have a lot in it but at least it does have some things in it. Of course there is a section for my own journal/diary and I have another section for spell basics like which candle color goes with which kind of spell. There's also a calendar so that I can know when the next full/new moon etc. is.

If you are considering having your own BOS it doesn't have to be a big elaborate kind of book. I started out using one of those black and white composition books and then transferred to a simple black notebook so that I could arrange everything more neatly. (I still use the composition book to compose my spells though)
